12-Day War Israel/Iran
The 12-Day War between Israel and Iran in June 2025 marked the most direct and intense confrontation ever fought between the two countries. The conflict began when Israel launched large-scale strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities, military bases, missile sites, and senior commanders, arguing that Iran’s nuclear programme posed an immediate threat. Iran responded with waves of ballistic missiles and drone attacks aimed at Israeli military and strategic targets, while tensions spread across the wider Middle East. The United States later joined the conflict with strikes on key Iranian nuclear installations, increasing fears of a broader regional war. After twelve days of heavy attacks, international diplomatic pressure — led mainly by the U.S. and Qatar — helped secure a ceasefire on 24 June 2025. Although the fighting ended, the war left deep regional tensions, uncertainty over Iran’s nuclear ambitions, and fears that future confrontation could erupt again.
The following images I shot over the 12 days.
