This was another
assignment that was sure to be one of just speeches. It took place at
David Ben Gurion's house in Tel Aviv where a memorial service was held
in his honour. Shimon Peres was being interviewed by the press before
going
to the service.
What I love about
this photograph is that it seems that Peres was rather at at the hall
where, in 1948, Ben Gurion (standing
in the photograph) declared
the State of Israel after the United Nations vote. |
