  Dizengoff bombing

Dizengoff Street Bus Bombing, Tel Aviv. The smell of burnt bodies from the bomb stayed with me for a long time. The bomb exploded nearby a shwarma restaurant where I loved to eat.
It took me a while before I could go back sit for a meal.

I remember photographing down into the bus from a roof above. As I lent forward to take this picture, someone grabbed my arm. I was just about to put my arm down on human flesh that had been blown onto the ledge by the bomb blast.

I really admire the people from the Hevrat Hakadisha who systematically search for these human remains.
