With IAEJ mentorship
and funding, the young activist of Noar TESFA
("HOPE" in Amharic) have put out their
second installment of TESFA.
This is a magazine outlining and discussing problems
facing the local Ethiopian community.
In the process the youth are developing the skills
they will need as future community leaders by
negotiating and working work with municipal offices
and local MATNAS community centers.
An IAEJ Training Weekend for Noar TESFA was held
in Tel Aviv in November.
The weekend seminar focused on strengthening the
group through activities, the provision of learning
materials on organizational processes, administration,
and small-scale advocacy methods.
The weekend was a resounding success, enjoyed
by participants and mentors / instructors alike.
